The best thing to do with old clothes is to give as a charity to poor needy people atleast they will be benefited for it
If you live in Seattle there is a place called Buffalo Exchange in Ballard that will pay you. Or start an ebay store. Take photographs of everything clean and steamed. Cross reference with like items on ebay for prices. Sign up on ebay and start listing. Or use craigslist.
You could always give them to a family member. Charity is the easiest way but you could try finding a homeless person. If you had other stuff you could sell them at a yard sale.
Clothing banks are usually situated outside large supermarkets. They send them off to needy people.
Do you have any family to give some too? Or friends? Or put some things outside your door saying "Take me for free"
Donate to Goodwill or or a consignment shop you can get paid for them
charity is the best option, but choose carefully theorganisation.
