How to make a pair of boots fit that are too big?

So my mom went to a thrift store and picked up a nice pair of cowboy boots for me. Typically, I am size 10-11 depending on the brand and these are 10.5 EE which means double wide. They are not all that big on me, they are definitely wearable, however, the fit is slightly too big as they are a bit too long at the toe and more importantly too wide for me feet as they are double wides. I really like the boots themselves and I would rather keep them then sell them or anything. Do you guys know of any way to reduce the size of a shoe/boot just slightly? Thank you in advance. So my mom went to a thrift store and picked up a nice pair of cowboy boots for me. You could try laying them out in the sun, but they will probably stretch out again when you wear them. Other than that, you could sew some layers of cloth into them.

Ace wraps or newspaper

big socks
