okay so I have been curious and been wanting to own my own pair of high waisted jeans for a long time. the problem is that I am an apple shape and my measurements are funky. my waist is around 37 - 38inches and then my hips are about the same thing. (cause of my gut) and every size (in an online store) i see only goes up to either 32" inches and it upsets me so. cause i want to wear them but then I can't. so can you guys help me try to figure out my actual size so I can maybe try to DIY them from mom jeans or something? Go to a store try then on.

Check a meauring chart on line and use a measuring tape to measure your small of your waist, your waist, and your hips.
