Either light blue or white will look really nice. Keep it casual with flat sandals or any flat shoes. Do you have a basic denim jean jacket? Or a short leather jacket? And a nice big tote bag or backpack? That's how skirts like that are worn by younger women downtown Toronto and it's not old or matronly at all, it's very young looking.

depends on the top, i recommend a tank top. unless you wear an ugly top, then i'll be doing " GUUUUURRRRLLL that top with that skirt ?!?! " *Z-snap*

I love it!!! I'm 15 and I own several maxi skirts/dresses. Many people I also see around wearing maxi skirts. I think you should wear it! Hope this helped, Leah
