bamboo is soft and dogs nails are hard.. so if the dog runs around and slides and all dogs will on and hard surface it will scratch it. doesnt matter the breed here. you can cover the entire house in rugs and hope for the best but sooner or later that dog may scratch the floors or eat the rugs or walls or the floors themselves..

Keep it covered with large floor rugs first, both types.

You can't be houseproud and keep a dog the two are not compatible.

cant cover all the wood. would the dog damage it?
