Go to a place like "Marshalls" or "Ross". They have high quality comforters for below retail prices. I get all of my bedding supplies from both of these stores. Including Egyptian cotton sheets!

Down comforters are not cheap. But you can sometimes get a fantastic sale. You should look at down and feathers if its only feathers yes it will be cheap, not necessarily in price. The thread count of the cover is important 300 is good. Then if it can be laundered. Not all of them can be.If all this is right and the price is too you found a great buy!

Down-filled comforters are expensive, so my first thought was that you should be looking for a miracle. However, I did a search for "down comforter sale" and found this link. http://www.overstock.com/Bedding-Bath/Do... Note that the $44.99 comforter is a blend of down and microfiber. The completely down-filled items start at about twice that price for a twin size. I've been pleased with Overstock.com's prices, quality and shipping on bedding I have purchased in the past. I recommend you read the reviews before deciding on one.
