Is being exposed to a black light for a long time hazardous?

You can damage your eyes.

Stop doing it.

I bought a Feit Electric Ecobulb blacklight. It says it's a 60w replacement (it only uses 13 watts). I use it as the primary light source in my room at night before I go to bed. It's on for about 3 hours a day or so, maybe 5-6 days out of the week. It doesn't bother my eyes or anything but I've heard black lights can lead to some serious effects. It doesn't say if it's UVa or UVb or whatever. Am I good or what? I like having it, but I have been considering switching to a blue light.
