Depends on if your a female or male. What colors normally catches your eye pick two at least. For now I would say go with neutral walls like soft beiges and pick up your colors on your bedding with homemade pillows from fabrics that have different prints and solid colors that matches for the bed if it is next to the wall. Your colors will come through prints you can frame in dollar store frames for walls and if you have a throw rug on floor or curtains/shades. Dark brown and turquoise blue is in. You can always change out colors on pillows and sheets easier than painting walls
White
Pastel (greyish) blue and pastel beige cream combination.
Make sure all fabrics using lots of whites and accent of blue. And some exposed wooden furnishings to make the room's mood more warm and highly comfortable.
Something calming/soothing: greens, browns/beiges, and grays are the best. I have a light-med green now, and medium brown curtains, and have never felt better.
Use light beige. It goes with everything especially turquoise and white. Peace ??
