Perhaps because we are living in the last days and this sort of thing was prophesied in the Bible.

it's because this generation are all assholes....yup
I am in high school and I notice people at my school are willing to not give back and not do something for their country. It is whether it being informed, joining the military, or not wanting to meet their full potential and help the U.S.
Like does it take another bombing on Hawaii, threats of nuclear war, or another plane into a building to reintroduce American patriotism and an informed public? What do we need? How can we fix this?
If this is kept up, then future American generations will be weaker, uniformed, less unified, and less giving.
