I really thought that this was going to be my year. But unfortunately it has not. I was working with a company for the past 4yrs. I reassigned from that position because I was offered a permanent job. Two days before I was suppose to start the company takes back it's offer. I trained my replacement already so now I am out of a job. I have no money. I am a single mother of two. I don't want to get on welfare. I applied for unemployment only for them to deny me stating I didn't show proof of my job offer but they never gave me the opportunity to prove this. Now I have no money coming in to take care of me and my kids. I feel as if the world is caving in on me. I just want to crawl under a rock and die. I am depressed and stressed out. I have no place to live. If anyone can find it in there heart to help me I would really appreciate it.

You need to go to the state department of social and health services. There is emergency assistance and there is help just for people with children. There are also organizations that can help (hopelink, etc), shelters, and even churches (you don't have to be religious to get help).

Talk to unemployment again about this and tell them the circumstances.

What your company did doesn't sound legal. if they offered you a permanent job and you'd signed all the required paperwork, etc...then they shouldn't be able to take it back and fire you or say that you've quit.

This is not a question. Go back to unemployment with the evidence of your situation. If you don't have any, it's because this story isn't 100% true. Do what you can in the meantime, don't make decisions that leave you stranded, and in the future save up so when **** hits the fan you can cope with it.
