It's Saturday right now and I'm scheduled to come in for Jury Duty during the week of June 16 2014.
I was ready to do it with no problem but I just found out an ill relative only has a couple days left to live and I need to fly out of the state ASAP to see her.
I tried postponing via phone but whenever I press the button regarding the postponing option the automated system only goes into my record and tells me information I already know. I also can't talk to a staff member since they are not working on weekends.
The form I got in the mail does say any postponements need to be made within 5 business days of the scheduled week and "no postponement will be made on the date of service" but i just found out about this today.
Any ideas on what action I can take?
