Basically I am an independent 24 year old man who has a trust account, now I have no access to this account I can t see what goes in or out of the account and I am over it, I am given an allowance each week (like a child) from my trustee s aka my parents, with this allowance I am to pay all my bills do food shopping and put petrol in my car, now recently I have been noticing that they don t care much for my way of life, the way I like to live, so basically after I pay my bills each week, I am left with around maybe $20 and I am currently trying to save up for a holiday, I have managed to save $240 for a $800 trip, now I have asked for more money, they just say no, you are doing fine on what you currently get, now I am just curious if there is anything I can do to take control of my own finances, seeing as how since they gained control of my money they have changed so much and have bought things that I know for a fact a truck driver can t afford, ie. a brand new truck, a brand new Ford Ranger and a brand new 30ft caravan, all help apreciated oh and I can t take them to court as they have a court order out against me accessing my money
EDIT 4 hours later: Just went looking at your past questions. You have had a hard and confusing life, and seem to be suffering from depression. I think your talk about suicide has caused your parents to retain control of your trust fund. An idea would be to see if they would pay a psychiatrist directly (using trust fund money) so that you could get some counseling and help. Good luck. {Except I doubt you would have any chance to emigrate to America, sorry.}
You need a good lawyer. But first, who set up the trust?
What Anna D said.
If you're a "man" then you can make your own money and control it. You didn't earn the trust fund and have no right to control it.
Take them to court, but maybe your money has run out by now.
If the trust is in their name, you're pretty much SOL.
You could get a
job.
