I'm 18 and I currently live with my parents. I went to school for one semester and decided it wasn't right for me. My parents make me pay rent in order to still live with them until I get my own place. However, I was recently let go from my job and no longer have enough cash to pay for my car insurance or rent. I'm looking for a job but my payments are due at the end of the month which total to roughly $300. I don't really have anything that I can sell in order to turn a profit and none of my family members are willing to help me out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ask your parents if you can defer the rent for now. You need your car, it's the only way you would get to another job.

What do you mean, you don;t have anything to sell? You have a car - which you now can't afford to run anyway!

Get a job or sell the car, then you don't need the insurance.

Get a job and get rid of the car, your cell phone and your internet access.
