Landlords commonly require you to earn 3X the monthly rent, which translates to a $695 max rent with your salary.
You probably need to live a fairly simple existence, always staying aware of your budget restrictions.
I work full time and bring home around $28k a year and I am a full time student. I pay the interest on my students loans, drive a car that i pad $800 in 2007, live in a small 1 bedroom apartments, i have a cellphone bill and internet..and i automatically save 10% of every paycheck and then every payday i also put away however much i have left over from the previous pay period and I receive no government assistance...so yea, living on $25 is possible. It would be hard for a lot of people. You have to get your priorities straight. Im frugal though. If I made $100k a year I would live the exact same life that i live today
