The life span of a bat is between 10-20 years.
Open the hole back up! It is a nest of babies! They will leave and then board it back up. Momma probably already made another entrance or they would already have died. That is cruel! Bats eat mosquitoes and help us that way! If it continues, hire a professional! You would need to hire one anyways when the corpses rot, stink, and start staining the ceilings. Be kind to wildlife! We share the earth with them!
You should have waited until They left in the evening to find food and then closed up the entrances.Then there would be no need to ask this question.Open the holes and let Them escape and tonight when its dark reseal the holes and You will be rid of Them.
No food and water and they'll die in days....Obviously they have a hole you don't know about. Maybe even one that goes into your living space. Notice any tiny scabs on your head yet? If so...Get to a doctor and get checked for rabies!

Hello here is the problem i have a couple of bats in my roof and its really annoying cause of the noise i keep hearing now apparently in my belief there are some bats that stay and some bats who go and bring back food so i blocked the hole and they cannot get out (There is a little hole in my roof and that is where they are entering) so like i said i blocked there
Its been almost a week now and they have not seem to die yet..So i wanna know no how long will it take them to just die there they dont get food or water because they can't escape..So what im asking is how long will it take them to die?
And stuff
