in august im going to have nowhere to stay but my car what are some tips

Get a pickup truck and a canopy, but put 3 4x4for each side on top of each other from the fenderwells on the inside and the canopy on top of that. so you'll almost be able to walk inside the bed. on the left either buy wooden boxes and put them side by side where it opens from above, so you can put your clothes in them. On top put your bed, like a air bed, so when your ready you can come out of bed and raise up your bed for your clothes. on the other side put your heater that plugs in, Your top burners for cooking and your refrigerator. In the long windows I used to put my beer and let the cold from the windows chill my beer. Get a little generator and set it outside in the woods for heat and electricity. When not in use, just bring it in for take off time. You can wash/ dry clothes at a laudermat and save a lot of money by living a year this way, since you wont have much expense. Mike

You rent a mailbox from the post office or Mailbox Etc. You get a gym membership so you have a place to shower, work out and watch TV. You use a cell phone and try to park in slightly different places every day. If you take a comforter duvet and put sodium acrylate into it ( you can buy it at gardening stores ) and either stitch or safety pin the duvet at various intervals, you can soak it with a lot of water, then dry the outside layer with a towel and place it on your car, evaporation would then keep your car cool so you don't need to run the air conditioner, problem is the evaporative blanket would attract attention. Note some diesel cars have an electric boost to their heaters, these can be wired up to extra batteries to provide you with heat through the night.

Check with your local government office, you may qualify for some assistance or at least they can direct you to some help. Many cities have a 211 service for social assistance. Go to the office at 8 am sharp and expect to spend the entire day there.

Not easy or comfy, but can be done. Get a warm sleeping bag and a tent, many of which are cheap 2nd-hand. Also, places for free meals, even if there's a line-up. Use the great Wilderness resources. Other suggestions, Folks? Hey, we all live well past our basic needs. -'nomad 13'-

Hope you have a big car. Stay away from paid parking!
