Does anyone at all check green recycling bins?

Newspaper companies? Workers at waste disposal sights? Is it just recycled straight away or does anybody check through these bins?

Ours in the Aylesbury Vale District Council area

are checked/sorted.

We put paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metal into

one recycling bin and they put it on a conveyer belt and

sort it out to sell on to various companies who use

our waste items for making various new products.

This way the council makes money for the local community.

Plastic bottles end up as fleece jackets,

metal is melted down and re-used.

Paper products go to make loo paper etc.,

I was told they go through everything and pull different things out at different stages of a conveyor belt. They get a lot of garbage including feces etc mixed in! Gross! I was also aware that they take the aluminum and metal mainly. A waste operator once told me to just throw all the recycling in with the garbage because it all ends up in the same place. He said they do the "recycling thing" to keep the towns people happy. What a waste of time and effort if that is true! I can guarantee you that is not the job most of us would want!!!!

People who have been to recycling factories know that they check everything they get. They have different sections for different products that they recycle and they have machines that can detect different things as they go by, so yes they do check it with precaution.

yes its checked by the refuse workers at the recycling site,

It's hand sorted at the recycling centre.

If your going to put a body in it they will see It and it goes in the truck and too a sorting site where it's hand picked for glass car paper ect

I believe they're sorted at facilities.
