If failed, you can recycle that tree to paper or bio-char.
I read in a magazine article a few years ago that the real christmas tree was greener. The trees are being replanted each year and now when the trees are dead people can leave them on their curve and then are used for other purposes.
The fake trees are bad because of all the materials that go into them and eventually they will end up in the land fill.
A fake Christmas tree will stay green indefinitely. Even the greenest live tree will eventually turn brown.
Real are sustainable whereas plastic has to be used for over 20 years to save the energy used in its production.
Depends on what tree you buy.... could be the real one, could be the fake one.
