sure it is the paint? and not some water damage else where? you will get a new paint smell for weeks if you are super sensitive to it but since applying a new coat of paint from someone else didnt cure it.. It maybe another smell from somewhere else..

Hiya i recently painted 2 of the bedroom walls in my new flat with Wilkinsons paint. The colour was a dark red, anyway there was no smell before the paint was applied and 10 days later there is still a disgusting odour coming from the 2 painted walls like there was when it was first dried.

I've tried everything to get rid of the smell like cutting up onions, using air freshners, ventilating the room, i even tried repainting over it with a Dulux paint but the smell has made its way through that.

The smell is a kind of musty unpleasant damp woody smell and it is stinking the flat out.

What can i do to get rid of the smell?
