Pretty hard to collect a warranty from China even if they have it. I wouldn't rule them out, but I would inspect them closely before buying.

I am in the process of performing research to remodel my home and note that the American made model ranges between 9-11k but if we choose a Chinese import alternate it is about $6800. However, the Chinese model is only a 5 year warranty while the American made is lifetime. Strikes me as add that a manufacturer would not stand behind their product. I've heard stories of the Chinese cabinets coming apart from the staples that hold them, etc. Does anyone have any recent experience?

It seems, at a glance that this is not an instance to cheap it out on lieu of quality?
