No, not fine. You run the risk of food poisoning especially if the meals contain meat. You would need to eat them within 5 days. A fridge will not get the temperature down low enough, maximum would be -2C, whereas a freezer should be run at -15 to -18C.

I really need to freeze a heap of meals I'm going to be making (and I don't have space in my main fridge), and I want to use my other small fridge like a freezer.

On its coldest setting it freezes drinks within them in about 2 days time (fully frozen).
