Also, call or go online to your city or state website. Most cities have a recyling program. What your doing is great! You go save the earth. Maybe you and other students could make a poster. That would be a fun project. If you need any poster ideas let me know
Sigh, the problem is that curbside recycling as become a business. Homeowners pay a monthly rate for the pickup of recyclables, whether or not the recyclables actually get recycled is irrelevant to the business model and subject to market conditions. It's very hard to be paid for or receive free things from a business model where you pay to have your recyclables picked up.
Usually local governments handle recycling through their Public Works department, if you are in the US. That would be a good place to start asking about this.
First, go talk to your school's principle. Ask for help. He/She will almost certainly be delighted to help. Additional resources should be easy enough to identify. For instance, who teaches your environmental science classes?
Im in student council and im on a recycling committe and were trying to find how to get free recycling posters to hang around the school, and how to get recycling into our school without happening to drop of the recyclables somewhere and maybe even get money for recycling.....or get recycling bins for free ......any ideas, websites, or ANYTHING Please help. !
