Conserve energy. Conserve it at home, at work, everywhere.

2

Car pool or use public transportation. When air quality is healthy, bike or walk instead of driving.

3

Combine errands to reduce vehicle trips. Think ahead and save yourself both time and fuel costs, as well as sparing air quality from decreasing some more.

4

Limit engine idling. Idling adds more smog-inducing particles to the atmosphere. Avoid it unless absolutely essential for human health (such as keeping warm in freezing weather).

5

Refuel with care. How you refuel has an impact on air quality. To reduce this impact, consider the following steps:

Stop when the pump shuts off. Putting more fuel in is bad for the environment and can damage your vehicle.

Avoid spilling fuel.

Always tighten your gas cap securely.

6

Keep your car, boat, and other engines tuned up. Inflate your car’s tires to the recommended pressure. This will produce the best performance for your car and reduces fuel usage.

7

Use environmentally safe paints and cleaning products whenever possible. Such paints and cleaning products emit less smog-producing particles to the air and are better for your breathing health too.

8

Follow manufacturers’ recommendations to use and properly seal cleaners, paints, and other chemicals. Carefully following the instructions ensures that smog-forming chemicals can’t evaporate.

Electrostatic precipitators reduce industrial air pollution by ionizing pollutant particles, collecting them on oppositely charged electrodes and removing them. Cyclone separators rotate air forcefully to hurl impurities against its side walls, and scrubbers have water sprays that remove impurities as air passes through. The government regulates automotive air pollution by requiring the installation of antipollution devices, such as the catalytic converter, in cars and trucks. It's possible to prevent home air pollution by adding electrostatic precipitators or mechanical filters to air conditioners. Here, they filter dander, dust, smoke and other pollutants. Portable air cleaners, forced-air furnaces and air purifiers also use filters to remove pollutants from small, enclosed areas.

1. Eliminate internal combustion engine in cars and instead carpool or ride a bike.

2. Adopt different energy sources like solar or wind energy.

3. Industries should in stall filters on smokestacks to purify the harmful gases.

4. Use perfume or sprays containing no CFC's.

5. Join in with friend everywhere by talking the pledge to make a difference.

Personally in my own place, I keep air cleaners going 24/7 even in the winter, (especially the heating systems seem to contribute to the Debra) the unseen pollutants in the air..the filters are so black, its so scary! Deep some on hand too, just in case!

You can go for some alternatives to avoid air pollution. You can go for bicycle when you need to go for only few kms. Make awareness to the people who are smoking. Recycle the garbage as much as possible.

There are 15 ways of reducing air pollution, good essay of how to prevent air pollution, and many well written pieces to show how to reduce the air pollution in scientific and approved effective supports. I think you will like to read the articles and agree with those writers.

Reduce factory smog.

You have to be aware =) plan trees and use eco friendly products...

AWARENESS

i just want to know any devices are there to reduce air pollution.dont tell me the whole process like turning off lights all that.please reply whether any devices are there?give their names please?

dont fart :)
