Could the bloom energy box, power a car?

So I found facts about a thing called a bloom energy box that can power a house without emissions that hurt the environment. So in theory it could power a car.

In a roundabout way, yes...it produces electricity using various fuels which could be used to recharge an electric car or hybrid car battery pack and down the road, it can produce hydrogen for the next generation of hydrogen powered cars. But it would not be likely as an onboard system...just something you could use to recharge HEV or EV car batteries or produce hydrogen for a fuel cell.

A 100 mm by 100 mm SOFC plate in the Bloom server generates 25 watts so to generate 250 kw, you'd need 100 square meters of plating. Maybe you could put your car inside it.

The Bloom Energy Server uses natural gas and atmospheric air, it's advantage over a natural gas turbine is efficiency. The capital costs are about $7 to $8 a watt, with the capital costs of solar being about $3 a watt and solar panels not requiring fuel, the Bloom Energy Server is still little more than a curiosity.

It's possible. But from the little bit I read, you still need a fuel source for this fuel cell. They were using propane or natural gas in at least some of them. Maybe this fuel cell could be used to generate electricity to charge the battery on an electric car. When you drive somewhere and deplete the battery, the fuel cell would be producing electricity and charging the battery while you're inside shopping or having lunch.
