Can you recycle Post-It notes?

The harsh and toxic acids used in paper recycling are very effective at breaking down any sort of adhesives. In fact, you could recycle rolls of electrical tape with your paper and the harsh chemicals used would eat them away and a worker would skim them off the top of the recycled pulp by hand.

If it's soy based glue or hide glue made from hooves you could probably keep feeding it.

They have glue on them and therefore would require chemicals to remove the glue. Some recyclers can handle that but as there's little benefit in sorting them out and processing them differently, most recyclers would say "no". You could always just cut off the strip with the glue.

its paper rite ??

When I am done with them, can I throw them in with the other office paper for recycling? Does the glues affect anything? I ask because I used to shred them with other paper and mix them in with my horse feed. Someone told me the ink and glue wasn't good for the animals so I stopped and now just send the paper to the recycling paper but I don't want to spoil an entire batch just because of some post-it notes with glues on them.
