Which reminds me, it is time for me to move my pullets outside and shift their bedding to the compost pile. Once outside, they can be fed, in part, on grass clippings from the lawn. The rest of the clippings get composted or left in place.
Throwing away is a consequence of consumption. Bring attention on consumption - to the levels of needs but not extra. Greed and gluttony produce so much extra waste that could be easily cut.
Well, don't forget about recycling, we cannot easily convince people to live a zero-waste lifestyle. We can't live life without having a zero-waste lifestyle for example, do you use gas or electric stove to cook,do you ride a bus, do you throw garbage? You see, everything we do, we leave waste behind. Smoke, is waste. Leftover food, is waste. But what you suggest is already a good example. And, please add reducing use of plastics and papers. Thanks:) Hope I'll help you.
Get a composting toilet of the municipality allows it.
I have to write a persuasive speech to persuade people to be more cautious about what they throw away. I'm already going to talk about composting, bringing your own bags and containter to resteurants, and bringing a bento box kinda lunch with a glass water bottle to cut down on plastic, and buying from the bulk containers at grocery stores. But is there anything else that I can say?
