Snapback caps have been around for decades. Before being referred to as "snapbacks" in urban slang, they were simply known as baseball, or trucker's, caps. They were adjustable with a flat brim and you could curve the brim however you wanted. Companies manufacturing caps with pre-formed brims is a fairly recent occurrence. Snapback caps are nothing more than old school, unfitted, baseball caps, the kind that have been readily available outside any major stadium, at any sporting goods store, or any convenience store for at least the last 50 years.
