You are confusing style with fashion. "Style" is all about having the confidence to look good in an outfit. Something Lady Gaga has bucket loads of. The general public might not always agree that what she wears looks good, but "style" is not about kowtowing to the opinion of the masses. "Fashion" is what the general public agrees is acceptable at the time. It is what the general public is wearing or willing to wear.

Its not stylish, only Lady Gaga can pull it off.
