Im thinking about geting 2 helix piercing, same ear right next to each other. My parents are cool with it but my dad was all like " if it's cartilage (which it is) it will never close up". It will close up. But there is a chance of it leaving a small scar. I have a few family members that have had cartilage piercings and let them close up. They don't have scars but I have seen pictures of people with scars.
