As long as you go to a registered professional body piercer, you will fine &nothing bad will happen. I had mine done when I was 16 &it was fine, so don't worry or be scared, everything will be great!

Why is everyone getting this done recently

You'll be fine. It will be red for a little, but only right around the bell button. Mine didnt swell or anything and if it did it wouldn't be noticeable and would go away in like 3 hours after piercing. The worth that could happen is you be allergic to piercing and it get infected, if that happened you'd just have to take it out. :)

My mom and sister both had theirs done and it got infected and they had to take it out, goodluck. I would atleast wait a few years..at least till you are done growing.
