Olive green is fine. The mint green walls make the kitchen cold so the olive will warm it up. Both being green, you cannot clash. Because the next color that would go is brown and olive is heading that way. Mother nature cannot be wrong can she? There are Sooo many trees to repaint.

You would want a warmer colour. Like an off white, cream, or even baby/robin/light blue, (if you're creative) etc. Mint is such a beautiful playful colour, olive green although nice, would be look very drabby and out of place.
