I've found the Combat ant bait strips to be VERY effective. One day and the ants go away.

Terro does not work at all. You pretty much have to feed them the whole bottle to get any effect, and it's quite temporary.

I would put a few of these (link below) around the bedroom. Within a couple days you shouldn't see anymore ants.
