I want to be able to be able to see a lite candle through the painted jar?

or is there any other way to do it?? Im lost for ideas

I would go to the paint store and talk to them. Make sure the candles are not so big that they will heat up the jars too much. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Don't mind that jerk Francyne, she's prob an ugly spinster.

I don't think watering down the paint would work that well, are you thinking of using acrylic? How about chalk paint? Spray paint might be easier too.

You can get translucent glass paint (like they use for faux stained glass)--I suggest a little experimentation and a trip through Hobby Lobby or Michaels or Joanns.

Watered down acrylic should work the best.

sounds like a really really low budget wedding. are you feeding the guests hot dogs and beans? BYOB?
