I am thinking about buying a house one block from Silver lake park just 2 to 3 houses away . The area seems nice to me , I like old houses .. and quite ..the schools are not so good but I am thinking about private schools and I like the proximity to the ferry as well as few blocks away from express bus going mid town Manhattan ..My question is as I was not a Staten Island resident before I would love to know what is the reputation of that neighborhood ? :) and do you think it is going to go high in prices (Bloomberg mall)? what do the rest of the Island think about it ..?
