Can people see my silhouette at night through the blinds?

Nobody will see your silhouette through wooden slat blinds. Anyone outside can see your shadow as you block the light source, but the shadow won't be a silhouette. It won't even be recognizable as being created by a human. It will just be a vague shape moving around. Your blinds provide good privacy unless a person stands within inches of the window and finds a crack between the blinds and the sill or between the blinds and the side of the casement. Check for gaps, fix any that you find, and you are safe.

Its very likely they can. I know how you feel. Thats happened to me. I realised if your shadow doesnt fall onto the blinds then they cant. But i realised that i would sometimes have my shadow on them and other times not.

So to reduce the chances of me being seen i put a lamp near the window only when i danced so that my shadow hit the opposite wall, hence they couldnt see. Now i can dance and prance away lol.

Hope this helps.

Simple and brilliant, fareed.

So I'm a dancer and sometimes I practice dancing in my bedroom at night. I have wooden blinds that are the slanted type and they're the thicker version so not flimsy. They're not the cheap plastic blinds. But I'm still wondering if people can see my shadow. I have two smaller curtains that I sometimes close it with too, but sometimes I don't. I just realized my neighbors might be able to totally see every move I make which is a little embarrassing.

Can they see my silhouette?
