Grandma Wendy, you and I have a lot in common. I'm the same age and just recently removed the popcorn ceiling from my bathroom. Not much fun but it sure looks good now! Give this method a try.

You need a scraper tool on a long stick.

OK, I'm 63 years young, but spry, I have removed about 1/2 of my 1000 sq foot home by spraying it with water and scraping, it was HARD, not good for me to be on ladder over backwards, Isn't there some kind of tool to remove it ? thanks, Grandma Wendy
