The energy wasn't created. That's your first misconception. Your second misconception is obviously confusing the world with the Universe. The Earth is simply a cloud of gases and dust which collapsed under gravity and by collisions with other like bodies. If you are going back to the creation of the universe, you could say that the energy was borrowed from nothing and is simply returning to it's natural state of nothing and it is this return to nothing that is our existence. It's often called zero point energy, vacuum energy, or quantum fluctuation.

The real energy comes from the sun, which is solar (light) or from radioactive atoms in Earth's interior. Through this, we are able to produce different kinds of energy and this allows machines and even living things to move and to do things.

It is not theorized that energy was created during the big bang, the theory is the expansion of energy and matter, it is possible it was always there.

It is also possible that the laws of physics were created at the same time, or were different prior to the big bang.
