Describe the difference between nuclear energy and light energy?

Nuclear Energy is the energy derived from the Nucleus of an atom. This is of two types : Fission and Fusion.

Light is an electromagnet wave. It's nature is dual - Both particle and wave. It acts as a wave in general but particles in special conditions. The energy transmitted by light is in multiples of a basic quantity of energy. This is a photon. Each photon exists as a whole. You cannot EVER have half a photon.

Light is one of many forms of energy. Heat, motion, sound, potential energy (which can be mechanical, chemical, or nuclear) and many other types of energy also exist. In nuclear energy energy gets by ionization. Light is electromagnetic energy, and the energy is carried in the wave itself, and not in any kind of medium.

:)

Light energy is photons which have no mass. Nuclear energy is anything else which has mass and is moving at you.
