I recently got $250 for selling a lot of my stuff that i didnt want anymore, and now i have no idea what to spend it on. i was thinking about all of the things i like (im a girl by the way, im 17) and a few things that i could possibly use the money on is clothes of course, i already have a nice phone so thats not really what i want, i could buy some other electronic but i dont really want anything else (i already have a laptop and phone). what else could i get??

Start the habit of saving money until you have a real need, (just take it out of your pocket before it burns a hole.)

After you save more money you can buy something more substantial, like a digital slr camera if you happened to get into photography, or it might go toward rent when you move out.

Go to the music store and buy some albums.

Save it until you need it then. Just because you have money now doesn't mean you have to spend it now.

why spend it, save it and build a nest egg/invest it, goal would be a nice condo or a nice car
