Wind energy pollutes the countryside with massive industrial structures being imposed on rural landscapes. The noise annoys local residents and the blades chop up birds and bats.

Unfortunately there is no such thing. A coal fired power station burning low grade coal such as lignite is probably the mots polluting, but what is the least polluting? No easy answer, wind power relies on huge turbines made from alloys of aluminium, which are very energy hungry to produces, all that aluminium comes from quarries, ore needs to be crushed up, trucked about, smelted, shipped, all causing pollution.

The only way to deuce which method is best is via the use of life cycle assessment;

Which would tell you for example that hot water solar panels pay off there pollution quicker than electric panels (PV).

All energy sources except photosynthesis cause some pollution. Even solar and wind have some envrionmental impact, although it's lower than other forms of energy.

A polluting source of energy is one that when you extract the energy you produce a substance that in exess will give a negative affect to the planet eg making all grass die

Burning fossils such as oil, natural gas and coal to make electricity, it produces carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and sulphur These all polite the oxone layer, aslo sulphur created acid rain that kills plants, trees and kills fish because it rises the ph level in rivers.

Oil to heat your home. Any poisonous gasses that sends emissions in the atmosphere.

Don't forget the production of solar cells & lithium batteries
