while she's still there, well you do the work before she gets there showing yourself that you can do without her. So when she comes she will either have very little to do or will be re-doing it making your place shine. At some point she will realize she's duplicating the work and will get the idea she needn't be there, and once you've got into the routine of doing the work then you can easily let her go. It would be difficult to get her back so you'd have to be confident in your own skills to clean up and take care of things yourself so get to doing that first. When a job has ended usually an employer waits until they give her money at the end of the week and then lets the person go at the end of the day on Friday, or may allow them to leave early (giving them that extra money that they haven't worked as a bonus). Tell her you need the money for something else right now but also ask if you need her services in the future would it be ok to call her again. She will then know that it wasn't something she's done that's the reason she's leaving and will feel better about the situation. She will have the weekend to find someone else to work for. It would not hurt her as much as you think it would. Next, make yourself a list of the things you need to get done and by when. Usually Saturday is the day people clean the house. Monday used to be the day to wash clothes.
I would suggest that when you tell her you will know longer need her, be aware of where your keys, jewelry, tools and forks are. That's what mine took when she left. It took me awhile to realize that small things were missing but she took a lot. Be sure you either change your locks and get rid of those outside extra keys. Not that she is a thief but many are. I do think you should give her a couple of extra weeks pay to find another job or more if you can. Just tell her you can't afford her any longer but that you will give good references for her if she needs them. Do not write those out but be willing to take phone calls.
Find a donkey and pack a load of bags on it. Give her a burito and a sombrero. Tell her the police are coming and they know she's a drug mule.
Tell her politely that you can no longer afford her. Give her a couple of weeks to find a new job. Worry about yourself, not her.
Well cutting the housekeeper (LOL) and 3 of your dogs should help a lot. Not sure how upset the housekeeper would actually be though to be honest.
And WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING ALL THE TIME !!!
Jksoni
Just put it in writing and give her 30 days to leave.
Tell her you can't afford her anymore, I always said that even if I was unhappy with the work it was easier.
Give some money and tell her to find a new job
"Your fired!"
