I am currently 16 and i am about to get a job and my mother says that she will put my money in a bank account that i cannot reach or get access to my money i just want to know if she can legally do it since it is my money from my job. This is in Miami,Fl.

Your mom is bein smart as this will ensure that more of your money will be saved instead of wasted. Don't waste your money on things like a car yet. Wait and save your money. Good luck.

I give all my money to mom so she can keep it in her bank, and all I do is ask her for it or she gives me the pin to her credit card and then I can access my money from there

Unfortunately it is legal. Until you are 18 your parents control your money. Hopefully she will carefully bank it as she promised.

You could politely ask to see the deposit slip each time she does so.

If she does put it into an account, your should be able to see the bank statement online that shows the money being deposited. This way you can keep track.

Until you're 18, you have no rights to control such things. She probably doesn't trust you with your own money - so perhaps try to encourage her by proving your trustiworthiness. If you blow it all on stupid ****, be prepared to have her step in again.

idk if thats legal but maybe compromise with her and ask if u can keep half and she put half in a bank account. It will be good for some to be put away because you can save some
