If you want to help the environment, don't recycle. This may sound shocking, but hear me out, when you recycle computer paper, trucks need to drive the paper to multiple factories where it is processed, these trucks use gas, which released CO, when the paper arrives at the factory, machine use more gas to process it. Also a chemical (which is harmful to the environment) strips the paper of its ink. This makes this toxic sludge, which is dumped into rivers, which gets into our water and kills andimals, trucks then bring it to another factory where it is turned back into paper.
If you want to help the environment, through the paper away, and then we will use less energy to cut down a tree to make new paper. And dont say that we are deforesting, because paper companies plant trees in order to cut down.
I'm sorry to tell you, but Al Gore has lied to you and turned you into a hippy.
Anything made of paper can be recycled. Even cartoon packaging can be recycled.
When it is made into a pulp it is strained of impurities like the windows in envelopes. That's what happens to the staples in catalogs and magazines.
We're just recycling programs
So I barely started getting into recycling and all of the places around me that accept recycled material say either newspapers or computer paper?
Now, I know what computer paper is but can it be any paper made out of different materials such as envelopes with the plastic windows, booklets and pamphlets or anything else like that?
