What you can do is live a simple life in a scarcely populated area in the wilds( Australia,America, Africa all over the world you can find wild areas)
or do what i like to do is go camping, but the fact the one has a job in some urban place means to live like that, you need to be a farmer, ie a gatherer job. And some people professionally work in wild parks somehow like a hunter lifestyle However they are called park rangers
I call that the caveman syndrome. Imagine the life of some Earl or King guard would have been like ( A lot of boring stuff honestly)
For archery, join a club
For sword fighting , do fencing
and Parkour is for becoming agile

You can do this almost in any State or country. You need to go to an unpopulated area and buy some land or use land that is vacant and no one cares about. In the States you would have to follow that same rules as everyone else when it comes to hunting. Montana and North Dakota have wide expanses of land and little population. You could probably rent a camp, work toward building a house or dwelling of some sort, like a yurt. You could buy some goats or cattle and some chickens to help with some food that you may not find in the wild, at least not consistently (like eggs and milk).
Going to a foreign country might be difficult as they don't speak English well so communication would be difficult. There are many survivalists who live away from society and are living off the grid and off the land for the most part.
Living off the grid is good for the land and less expensive that the way most of us live. You might be able to find a prepper group near you to get more info about being independent.

There's plenty of countries where hunter gatherers still exist, even parts of North America though often in reserves, but you may want to stay away from the cannibals such as in New Guinea and parts of Brazil. It's really a very small proportion of the human population who are fortunate enough to live in the developed nations.
If you live near the woods, build a treehouse. In the treehouse only have a water purifier and 2 cups. Oh and everytime you see an animal go get a can of food. Oh and bring one blanket.
This is really fun! I did it one year I slept in my treehouse for one night because it rained the other 2 days.

There is no such thing as a dumb question. And you want to be one of them hunter-gatherers? I would say go anywhere in Africa, India, Asia, etc. where people don't have a damn thing and can't even afford the cheapest brand of TP to wipe their bum holes and where the only things they eat are the dead rats and mice that die from diseases in their meager villages.
your best bet would be Alaska, or canadian boreal forest. The borewal forest is the largest forest on earth, and has fish, migratory birds such as ducks and geese, caribou, moose. Thier are wolves and brown/black bears thier too. Live in a alaskan village.
There are many tribes like this in South America, including Peru, Ecuador, and other Latin American countries.
i know this is a dumb thing 2 ask. but i want 2 ask it anyway. so................. i usually feel like that we have it 2 easy in our modern day society. i mean back then people had 2 hunt 4 food and kids worked. 4 some reason i rather live back when kids got 2 hunt and gather food, and actuallly help. i find that fun. so my question is, is there a place where i can go 2 maybe use a bow and arrow, ruff it out, survive with only the resources. stuff like that. anywhere around the world.
