I'm tired all day with no energy?

Sounds like a typical 16 year old to me. I felt the same way when I was your age. In fact I didn't start to feel like I had any energy until I got to college.

Try eating a breakfast full of complex carbohydrates and protein, and no refined sugar, in the morning. Something like a bowl of plain oatmeal with nuts and raisins, or a couple fried eggs on whole wheat toast. Sugar and caffeine both make you crash later on.

As for getting to bed at night, try to avoid your 3 hour nap, and do your homework during that time instead. It will be hard the first couple of days, but eventually you will get used to a different sleep cycle.

Ginseng is known to be the healthiest and most efficient energy drink, but it can give you anxiety and counteract medications. Maybe you are not eating enough iron. I think chamomille tea is a natural remedy for falling asleep. You should examine your diet and research herbalogy.

You are probably eating mostly carbohydrates and sugars, they tap out after two hours. Fats and proteins last about 4 to 6 hours. Even a little peanut butter helps with your energy levels. Try adding more proteins and fats and try to get to sleep an hour or two earlier on a regular basis so it becomes a habit. You're having trouble sleeping because of the nap in the afternoon so you need to change your diet so you have more energy in the afternoon, and your sleep habits. A teenager requires more sleep than an infant but few teens are wiling to acknowledge that.

U have a tumor on ur brain, sry

I'm a 16 year old high school student. For about the past 3 months every day I have had no energy during the school day - to the point where I literally have to fight to keep my eyes open which makes it really hard to keep up on my school work.

I have to get up at 6 every morning to get to school and it's SO hard for me to get out of bed. All day I feel lagging. I'm usually a really good student, but the past few months It's been hard fo me to keep up on my school work especially because when I get home all I want to do is sleep, so usually I'll take a 3 hour nap and after I wake up around 6 pm I feel full of energy. Then I do my homework until 10 or 11, and When it's that time that I need to go to bed I CANNOT fall asleep, and I know that I need to get to bed earlier but I usually don't end up falling asleep until about 12:30-1:00, even when I take melatonin.

What can I do to give me more energy during the day? (I can't drink coffee because I'm alllergic) And also so that I can fall asleep better?

Thanks in advance (:
