When you buy pant or short, should the pant or short be a little bit loose or should fit exactly around waist for aesthe

For example, i have a 34 waist, but if i buy pant or short that fit exactly around my waist, I wouldn't need to wear a belt, but i feel like it doesn't give me a lot of room for my thighs to "breathe." When I buy pant or short that is around 36 waist, it is a bit loose, but i can wear a belt, and in this case, the pant or short gives me a little bit of breathing room. Which should I buy?For example, i have a 34 waist, but if i buy pant or short that fit exactly around my waist, I wouldn't need to wear a belt, but i feel like it doesn't give me a lot of room for my thighs to "breathe." I'm thin I have a 32 inch waist and since I have very narrow hips the pants will still slip down without a belt regardless of if they fit. I prefer to buy my pants a little big because they do shrink a little when washed.

If you have a small waist for your hips or thighs, you have to fit the larger parts. Many of us have narrow waists and could not fit clothing by the waist size. So do not even try. Fit the largest parts of your body, no matter where they are.
