I work in a cafe and my shoes have to be black and nice because its also inside of a fancy inn/hotel. They can't be open toed but i can wear flats. Try Rieker anti-stress brand. Munro American is another. If you do not like those brands, check out suggestions on the barkingdogshoes.com. You may want to get some that you can add a gel insole to. Do not go too flat, as that can be as bad as too high a heel. A 1/2 - 1 1/2 heel is probably the highest you would want to go.
