Wear a summer or tropical weight suit and a short sleeve summer weight shirt -be sure both are light colors in summer weight fabrics such as linen or super light wool -the shirt can be light linen or light cotton. Don't wear dark colors and don't wear long sleeves. You want to dress well, but not cook yourself in the sun. When sitting in the hot sun take off the jacket and undo the shirt buttons. You don't want to die of heat exhaustion! Tuck a tie in your pocket so if there's an indoor gathering for refreshments you can whip it around your neck and be perfectly attired. Or if everyone else is in a tie for the ceremony then you can switch into one. And drink lots of water before the even and if there's room tuck a water bottle into a pocket so you don't get dehydrated! And question why anyone would hold an even like this in Florida in the middle of summer -because I don't understand the need to cook people under the midday florida sun.
Such an occasion would mean a suit and tie since I'm sure you'll be taking her out to a fancy dinner after as part of the celebration. How proud you must be !!!!
