Don't. My mom has been married for 25 years and still tells the story about a girl showing up to her wedding in white lace.

is it white? then that dress is a no go no matter what.....the only one who can wear a white dress on that day is the bride....if it is a tan color maybe but no

Nope, take it back and pick something else. Too close to looking like a bridal dress, and who knows if she might wear one short or long. Out of towners not knowing her as well might mistake you for the bride and that would be embarrassing.

Yeah, but then just make sure everything else is simple, because yes you don't want to end up looking like the bride..lol
