no. I just know that because I fit a dress size 4 and I fit nowhere near a size 6 in jeans. Size should not matter, but the fit is everything. EVERYTHING. No matter how sparkly or whatever it is about the dress, finding a flattering dress for your shape and skin color (ivory girls shouldn't be allowed to wear hot pink) should be of paramount importance.

Almost all sites have a size guide or chart. Go by that or don't get the dress if it's too small. You may get smaller to fit it but don't plan on that. Good luck!! : }
